Vendors We Love: Invision Events

We are loving the gorgeous work of Invision Events and are so excited to feature them as our 'Vendor We Love' this week! We have also loved getting to know their talented owner and creative director, Julie! Scroll below to get to know Julie and the service she strives to give her brides!

How did you get started in the wedding industry?

I have always wanted to own my own business. I had been working with some local girls who were directing wedding ceremonies while they were in school. Their paths took them away from directing weddings after they graduated and I decided that this was what I wanted to start my own brand with: weddings and events.

What special service do you offer your brides?

I like to think that our service is professional and personal all at the same time. I would never want someone to feel like just another wedding. We look at each wedding as something special and an opportunity to let the people in it shine.

What are your favorite accents this season in the weddings you're planning?

For us, this is the year of pink! I see it everywhere and in all shades. One of my favorite ways to use it is with subtle touches of blush pink and gold accents. It's perfect!

What is your favorite part of the wedding to plan?

If you love weddings, you know you really can't answer this question correctly because you love it all! But, I know that I have a solid love of logistics and what makes things click along just right. Watching everything come together into one wedding day that runs like clockwork because of the planning beforehand is a special kind of high for me.

What can we find you doing on your days off?

Days off are hard to come by in this business! So, I love to catch up with my friends over a great dinner and glass of wine (or champagne if I'm honest). I love to travel, but my version of travel is usually to places where I can visit my family and friends who are spread out all over the country.

What is the best advice you were given when beginning your business?

Give it time! An overnight success wouldn't have a solid foundation. You have to give your business time to mature. Just keep doing good work.
