Real Ivory & White Bride: Caroline
The bridal industry presents Ivory & White with the rare opportunity to work with creative minds almost every single day. When so many talented forces are combined, one stunning wedding is the final product, and our sweet bride Caroline's is no exception! Caroline wore such a unique Lela Rose gown for her Florida wedding and looked positively radiant on her big day!
Caroline's illustration company, Sincerely Me Caroline, specializes in event paper designs and specialty commissions. She teamed up with Carrie Beth Taylor, another talented local artist, to create a one-of-a-kind watercolor bridal portrait, and the result is absolutely breathtaking!
Check out Caroline's wedding gallery below, featuring our interview with Carrie Beth about her Bridal Illustration process, and what it's like to work with another Alabama artist!
Ivory & White Sits Down with Carrie Beth Taylor - Artist
If you've visited Ivory & White, you've seen the brilliant artwork displayed in our fitting rooms by none other than Carrie Beth Taylor. Her watercolor bridal portraits are flawless and are the most unique, personal way to remember your big day. We sat down with Carrie Beth to discuss her love of artistry.
"Bridal Illustration chose me!" says Carrie Beth. "Though I've been painting since I was a little girl, it was only a few years ago I began to receive inquiries from brides about painting their portraits. What's not to love about working with such beautiful subjects?!"

"Each bride is so different," says Carrie Beth, "so I try to learn their personality in capturing the illustration."
Carrie Beth said she put a lot of pressure on herself regarding Caroline's portrait. "There was something about creating a piece for another artist that was challenging in my mind! I wasn't pleased time after time, but I finally worked through it and am very pleased with the final product."
Carrie Beth said her favorite thing about artistry is that no day is ever the same. "I've painted everything from mermaids to storks to brides and so much in between!"
She also sang Caroline's praises, regarding their connection as artists. "Caroline is so talented and exquisite on so many levels," Carrie Beth said. "How can you not swoon over her work?! What a gift! Not only do Caroline and I connect on an artistic level, but we were also both Phi Mu's at The University of Alabama."
